PAETEC's integrated communications solutions are as broad as the nationwide markets we serve, and as specific as the individual needs of businesses.  We bring extraordinary experience and flexibility to tailoring individual solutions for our customers, and we back it up with our commitment to service excellence.  It's our passion - a passion for quality.Responsible for internal audits of all PAETEC processes of operational and financial reporting audits and compliance with Sarbanes Oxley testing.Identify, understand, and document processes and procedures surrounding internal controls.  Continually monitor, update, and assess the control environment, keeping abreast of control issues, trends, and developments.Understand the requirements of the Sarbanes-Oxely Act of 2002 and assist in developing and maintaining processes, along with remediation of findings to help ensure compliance with SOX requirements.Provide input for preparing and implementing a risk based audit plan to assess, report on, and make suggestions for improving the company's key Operational, Information Technology, and Finance activities and internal controls.Responsible for monthly reporting on audits performed, effectiveness of the internal audit process, and any follow-up needed regarding identified weaknessesProvide industry-specific guidance surrounding the implementation of recognized standards such as COSO, COBIT, and ISOComprehensive knowledge of auditing practices, procedures and principles, sufficient to interpret and analyze complex concepts and apply these in innovative ways.  Skills and knowledge should include an understanding of Information Technology, financial, operational, market, and credit risk.  Should have knowledge of generally accepted auditing standards in the US. Thorough understanding and familiarity with the concept and practice of self-auditing institutions, as in the COSO and COBIT frameworks and control self-assessment approach for the review of reliable Information Technology, financial reporting, operational efficiency and compliance. Capability and desire to evaluate the effectiveness of management in their stewardship of PAETEC�s resources and their compliance with established corporate policy and procedures including corporate governance, code of business conduct standards. Experience in an internal audit function preferred. Experience in the Telecom Industry is preferred.  Candidate should have the ability to develop creative approaches and solutions necessary to solve complex problems.Comprehensive understanding of Information Technology General Controls is preferred; along with knowledge with UNIX, Oracle, AS-400 and Active Directory controlled environments. At PAETEC, it's not just business.  It's personal.  Our mission is to be the most customer- and employee-oriented telecommunications provider.  We work hard to take care of our employees, who work hard to build long-term relationships with our customers.PAETEC also partners with leading technology companies to deliver world-class solutions to the communications challenges our customers face.  In addition, PAETEC's employee-led Green Team is creating near- and long-term actions to increase sustainability across all our operations nationwide.  If you want to make a difference, PAETEC is the place to be.We are proud to be an EEO/AA employer F/F/D/V.Please email Talent_Acquisition@paetec.com .
