Summary of Responsibilities: The Interactive Designer supports the marketing and web departments by providing most forms of interactive customer communication including the design and maintenance of intranet, email and promotional multimedia materials.
Experience/Education Requirements: Four year degree in communication field (Marketing, PR, Advertising or Graphic Design Preferred). A minimum of four years direct experience in advertising or graphic design required. Basic computer skills including word processing and spreadsheets required. Strong graphic design skills and good design sense required. Advanced knowledge of graphic design software required, including but not limited to Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Macromedia Dreamweaver and Macromedia Flash. Experience coding HTML, XHTML, Javascript, and Actionscript. Additional preferred skills include strong written, verbal and organization skills; excellent planning and execution, with attention to detail; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously; and proofreading, editing, layout, design and print production.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to sit for long periods of time and use computer keyboard and/or mouse, while viewing computer screen
