Northern, VA Description:CALCTR: Responsible for driving call center sales as a primary delivery channel for all Cox residential services and product lines while ensuring customer satisfaction. Develops, implements, and leads sales strategies for Cox Communications and serves as a strategic partner in the overall operation of the organization. Exceed growth and profit objectives by maximizing the sales of individual and bundled Cox video, voice and data services to residential customers though multiple sales channels including inbound and outbound telemarketing, and in-house residential sales teams.1-Assists the Sales Supervisor in supporting sales representatives selling across all product lines, services, and ancillary products in a call center environment.2-Assists the supervisor with individual/team statistics for performance management standards and contests to ensure departmental goals and objectives are met.3-Maintains service level goals by providing floor coverage, answering supervisor calls, and delegation of departmental work.4-Aids in the development of CSR's by providing coaching, monitoring and training sessions.5-Serves as Project Lead, Subject Matter Expert, and/or Department Liaison for new product rollouts, marketing efforts, training programs, and/or various other strategic initiatives.6-Resolves escalated customer calls through problem solving and expertise in all products, processes, and positive relationship building skills.7-Creates, implements, and/or serves as the point of contact for incentives designed to drive performance and achievement of Sales goals.8-Maximize residential sales calls received by selling Cox Communications products and services to new and existing customers generating revenue.9-Utilizes sales skills to meet and or exceed production expectations.10-Demonstrate a solid understanding of our various products and services to ensure an accurate description is provided to customers ensuring quality sales and retention.11-Present product information in an accurate manner while ensuring solid customer service for the customer at all times.12-Takes inbound calls from customers who are requesting a "controllable" disconnect.13-Responsible for resolving customer concerns, overcoming customer objections and retaining customers.14-Educates customers on Cox products & services.15-Handles escalated customer calls regarding billing, technical issues and other problems, providing complete customer satisfaction.16-Sells services to inbound-calling customers, on a commission basis.17-Initiate outbound sales calls to existing and potential customers providing information about our products to contribute to increased sales results.18-Respond to customer inquiries on our products (video, telephone, high-speed data and digital TV services, etc.) while at the same time educating our customers and promoting current marketing campaigns and promotions.19-Access customer databases or other files to research customer inquires.20-Assists other departments as needed by taking overflow calls related to sales, technical support or billing etc.21-Responds to any account related questions in which customers may have including billing, payment issues, pricing, etc. Accesses customer databases or other electronic files as needed to bring a resolution to the situation.22-Understands and promotes current marketing campaigns and strategies to customers and potential customers.23-Complete timely and accurate records of sales and/or retention activities on a daily basis.Qualifications:Typical Training / Experience - HS diploma, GED or relevant work experience; 0-2 years of experience in area of responsibilityDept/Org Scope & Impact - Entry level support role requiring basic skills; can perform some of the basic tasks within the function; some impact at the job or department levelProblem Complexity - Performs simple, routine work; Selects correct processes from clearly prescribed rules, past practices, or instruction; Seeks advice and guidance on non-routine or problem areas from supervisor.
