IT-Network Administrator
FMHC Corporation, a nationwide site development firm specializing in the leasing, permitting and construction management of wireless telecommunications sites, is seeking qualified individuals to fill a Network Administrator position in our Chicago office.
Minimum knowledge and experience:
Job Functions:Manage business class network encompassing 10 locations and 100-200 users, including servers, workstations, routers, firewalls, VPN tunnels, remote access, and T-1 and broadband connectionsProvide on-site and remote diagnosis, troubleshooting, repair, preventative maintenance, software installation, and, setup of systems Working knowledge of IPv4 and understanding of IPv6Manage network backups, including disaster recovery planningMaintain distributed file systems and Active Directory, including group policy and replication
Requirements:Strong knowledge of Windows 2003 servers, Windows XP platforms, MS Office suite, email servers, and VERITAS BackupWorking knowledge of Cisco IOS and CitrixThree years minimum Windows Server 2003 server administration, hands-on network installation, and support experience in a corporate environmentExperience establishing and configuring network and server security schemes, including firewalls, content filtering, and workstation and server protectionStrong knowledge of LAN, WAN and VPN technologiesBachelors Degree Required
