IP Support Representative

Position Summary:
This is an entry level in a call center, responsible for performing a variety of customer service functions such as technical support and billing duties. The individual professionally interacts with customers via telephone who are seeking customer education and Tier I' IP technical support which includes basic troubleshooting of the Comcast IP includes basic troubleshooting of the Comcast IP Network, email, operating system, connectivity issues and billing questions. The position is responsible for a full range of knowledge regarding online products and integral workings of cable. The individual is responsible for providing accurate information concerning online services and product pricing. The individual must have a sales orientation, exceptional soft telephone skills and a keen ability to understand broadband technology.

Responsibilities:
Answering incoming calls, providing basic troubleshooting tactics to resolve IP technical issues/ cable technical issues
Prepares work orders for maintenance requests, maintain and update customers accounts
Upgrades additional products and services to existing customers, corrects errors and discrepancies on customer billings as necessary


Required Skills:
Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma/ GED
Computer literate: WIN2000 Professional, WINXP and MAC OS 9.0 or better, Internet browser and proven technical aptitude
A minimum of one year proven customer experience, excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Preferred 1-3 years experience in cable industry and/ or related experience
