Help Desk Engineer - Mt. Laurel PAETEC's integrated communications solutions are as broad as the nationwide markets we serve, and as specific as the individual needs of businesses.  We bring extraordinary experience and flexibility to tailoring individual solutions for our customers, and we back it up with our commitment to service excellence.  It's our passion - a passion for quality.Responsible for working with our installed customer base to identify and resolve production LANs/WANS as well as telephony problems, and providing a detailed written account of each engagement for processing.Answering phones and email Documenting solutions/procedures Providing informal instruction/training to customers Maintaining/Initiating Documentation Other tasks as assigned Must possess good knowledge of LAN/WAN technologies and applications Must possess good knowledge of telephony systems and IP Telephony Exposure and skills in various server and desktop operating systems. Knowledge of and experience with Cisco equipment Good working knowledge of TCP/IP. Familiarity with Internet protocols (SMTP, DNS, HTTP, etc) Experience with Security devices (firewalls, VPN) Skilled in troubleshooting anomalies and appropriately handling exceptions Skilled in documenting assigned work tasks Skilled in written and oral communication with technology team and other staff CCNA required, MCSE helpful. Successful candidate will posses the ability to listen effectively with customers to make quick decisions for problem resolution. Excellent and effective communication skills both written and verbal required.
