Coordinate all aspects of facility maintenance including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry as well as the interior and exterior appearance of all assigned facilities.
Inspect buildings and grounds on a regular basis.
Perform maintenance and repairs of building and grounds.
Perform or coordinate preventive maintenance for equipment.
Maintain records to track maintenance and repairs.
Analyze blueprints for effective use of facility space for furniture layouts and construction projects.
Assist Facility Supervisor/Manager in development and evaluation of plans for projects to be carried out by vendors; coordinate and monitor performance of vendors performing building services.
Move office furniture as needed.
Provide services associated with facility preparedness for special events.
Assist in coordination of issuance of keys to buildings and furniture. Change locks as necessary.
Maintain inventory of furniture, fixtures and equipment.
Organize and maintain storage area.
Identify recurring problems with work processes, policies, or procedures; contribute ideas on ways to resolve problems to better services the customer and/or improve productivity.
Other duties as assigned.
Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance

Required Skills:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 3-5 years in building maintenance and/or construction
Working knowledge of general maintenance and repair of building systems and components.
General understanding of building mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
Mechanical skills which may be acquired through vocational school or training, outside activities, or job experience.
Valid drivers license, satisfactory driving record.
Ability to maintain records and reports of work performed.
Strong problem solving skills.
Ability to work independently as well as function successfully within a team.
Effective written and verbal communications skills.
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word and email.

Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs. Frequent standing and walking, sitting, reaching above the shoulders; climbing;kneeling, crouching, and some crawling.
Regular exposure to outside weather conditions.
Occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts.
Occasional exposure to risk of electrical shock.•Occasional exposure to loud noise levels.
May be required to be on call twenty four hours / seven days per week if needed to respond to security and/or building problems.
Heavy local travel using company vehicles.
