FINANCIAL SERVICES REP (AHWATUKEE, AZ) - Training Class Starts 10/6!

The focus of a Financial Services Representative in an Alltel call centerenvironment is to analyze accounts and collect aged receivables. Continuedemployment for this position is contingent upon successful completion of theAlltel training process, which includes the New Hire Training Assessment.Essential Job Duties and Expectations: Handle customer calls in a high qualitymanner in a fast paced inbound/outbound call center environment. Followestablished guidelines to collect and analyze information to create resolutionalternatives aimed at reducing risk and increasing revenue. Contact customersmanually or via the auto dialer to resolve non-payment issues and research andnegotiate payment arrangements. Access and update customer accounts in computerbilling system. Review bills and explain fees and charges for service. Determinewhen service suspension and/or disconnect is appropriate and initiateaccordingly. Gain and maintain product/service knowledge, telephony technologyknowledge and industry updates. Must achieve revenue collection goals. MinimumRequirements: Good telephone and communication skills (verbal and listening),with highly effective interpersonal skills to interface with and focus on Alltelcustomers. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.Proficiency in operating a Windows PC. Must be able to work flexible hours on arotating schedule including evenings and weekends. Ability to meet collectiongoals. Education and Experience Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent.0 2 years total experience; 0 1 year customer service and/or sales experience.College hours or a college degree may be substituted for some experience asdeemed appropriate. Desired Qualifications: Demonstrated enthusiastic customerinteraction with good negotiating skills. Display of competent multi-taskingskills and takes initiative in diffusing challenging customer contacts. Abilityto work in a team environment, make sound decisions and use proper discretion inhandling customer issues within company guidelines. 6 months experience withmulti-line telephone communication skills in customer service, consumer credit,collections and/or sales. Familiarity with commercial credit bureau reports,credit scoring, the Equal Credit Opportunity Act and Fair Credit Reporting Act.Working knowledge of collection practices including bankruptcies. Bilingual(English/Spanish) skills a plus.
