Equipment (Asset) Coordinator

We are currently looking for an Equipment/Asset Coordinator with the following background:

 

Description of responsibilities:

· Maintain inventory of drive testing and processing tools in the McLean office;

· Identify, price, and ensure that equipment is upgraded or inspected as necessary;

· Identify necessary specifications and order equipment (either rental or for purchase) to assist in project; 

· Identify specifications and obtain price quotes for equipment in proposal stage;

· Ship equipment to & from project locations;

· First line of product support to engineers in field, when using this equipment;

· Act as vendor interface for additional tech support issues (e.g., get vendor tech support to help when problems aren’t solved);

· Assess and critique new equipment and maintain vendor relationships with equipment vendors

Experience & skills required:

· Strong performance and optimization background.

· Lots of in-depth knowledge of several of the tools (TEMS a must, ideally Agilent, also Invex, and a few others). 

· Good independent problem-solving ability – ability to learn quickly and dig in

· Be organized (especially when considering inventory), and be able to take on the work to do ordering / purchasing. 

· Detail oriented.

· Good communication skills and persistency a must

 

Education required (minimum): Tech Degree 

 

Education desired: BSEE/MSEE
