Engineering Technician - Serviceability (Miramar FL) 71275

Southern/Miramar

Candidate will be responsible for managing serviceability process and requests in-box. This includes researching and completing serviceability requests which determine whether Comcast can provide all its services, including Comcast Digital Voice.

In addition, this position will assist with researching and entering new build and node split addresses / serviceability into CSG, and ensuring that CSG node data for customer accounts is reconciled with the NCP, which involves researching and correcting all node reconciliation discrepancies.

Other job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Utilize Comcast resources and data files as well as other federal, state and local community databases to validate serviceability and provide requested information.
Interface with the following systems and databases: CSG;; Engineering database; Construction database; NCP; Hyperion; Auto In order to research fallout and accurately correct.
Communicate verbally and in written form to all interested parties regarding the anticipated impact of conflicts and the projected resolution of same.
Track and maintain any information needed to monitor results of data input integrity.
Interact with Engineering Manager to perform quality checks and reporting needs for data tracking purposes
Manage serviceability process and escalations with internal and external organizations.
Complete and/or manage special projects and perform other Engineering support duties as assigned.
Demonstrates and ensures compliance with Customer First philosophy.
Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance.


Required Skills:
Associates degree preferred, High school diploma required.

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Outlook), and Internet research
Must be comfortable with navigating quickly between several databases/systems on a PC
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail is essential.
Strong written and verbal communication skills required with ability to interact with engineers, dispatch and MIS personnel at all levels.
