Engineering Manager-Telephony Outside Plant and Equipment
Ritter Communications is a leading provider of residential telephone, cable TV, internet and business communications services throughout Northeast Arkansas. Â We have experienced tremendous growth and success, due in large part to an innovative lineup of residential and commercial communications products and services, and an unsurpassed commitment to excellent customer service. To support our continuing efforts, we are currently seeking an experienced Engineering Manager responsible for maintaining and enhancing our outside telephony plant and equipment.
In this key role, the candidate selected will develop and implement processes and procedures to map, document, maintain and enhance all outside plant and equipment for our ILEC operations throughout our service areas in Northeastern Arkansas. This position will also be responsible for supervising telephony outside plant construction and cut-over, maintenance activities, engineering and design. We are seeking an individual who is innovative and process oriented, possesses strong technical skills and has the ability to teach, coach and mentor a dedicated team of telephone technicians.
Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 5 years experience in an engineering capacity relating to outside telephone plant and equipment, including mapping, documentation and process design. Â Recent experience in LEC plant operations supervision is also required. Â Formal education (A.S. or B.S.) in an appropriate technical discipline is highly preferred. Some exposure or working experience in cable television operations would be a plus, but is not required.
This position will be based in Marked Tree, Arkansas (located halfway between Memphis, TN and Jonesboro, AR) and relocation assistance is available. For immediate consideration, please forward your current resume along with salary requirements to: jclark@rittermail.com  Â
