Engineer I/II-Project Manager (2 positions)

Job Description: Responsible for managing telecommunications network engineering initiatives,supporting the implementation and integration of major network modifications,enhancements, or products or services required. Responsible for: planning,implementing, controlling and reporting of projects, with specific goals ofbuilding and delivering a project within the planned scope, schedule, cost andquality. Works with vendors, internal and external teams to set and driveproject direction. The ideal candidate must possess the ability to research,analyze and define implementation, operations, development activities required,on a per vendor, technology or feature basis including requirements frommultiple internal or external groups Desired Qualifications: Knowledge of project management methodology, and telecommunications networkengineering; knowledge of project life cycle models, phases, and activities;knowledge of MS Project, Visio and other business applications; creative inproblem mitigation and resolution; leadership and team building skills;demonstrates a high degree of accountability; demonstrated experience workingwith complex, highly technical content; excellent written, verbal and groupcommunications skills. Certificates/ Licenses: Project Management Professional certification, preferred but not mandatory. Education and Experience Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field and level experience; or 4 years professional level related Engineering/Technicalexperience; or an equivalent combination of education and professional levelrelated Engineering/Technical experience required.
