Director of Leadership & Professional Development

Director of Leadership & Professional Development will act as a strategic business partner with the Senior Vice President of Human Resources to develop a global professional development strategy for NeuStar.
Key Task:
· Define, create, and implement a global learning methods supported by specific training and development initiatives
· Build a company-wide understanding of competencies and performance standards required for high performance. As well as architect a system and curriculum which drives the development and attainment of those core competencies in all employees
· Develop tools to conduct sophisticated needs assessments that measure and prove ROI.
· Responsible for ensuring that all employees have access to vital business information and knowledge
· Coordinate with technology and information users to create a knowledge management strategy and structure for knowledge availability
· Identify best practices throughout the organization and communicate and implement these practices
· Oversee talent review process.
Tactical Skills:
· Analyze and determine training needs, administer plans, procedures, and programs to meet training needs and problems
· Develop and construct training manuals and training aids or supervise their development by outside suppliers
· Supervise or conduct special courses designed for training selected groups of organization employees, and coordinates participation in outside training programs by organization employees
· Create and execute an aggressive leadership development strategy
· Develop career path approach; identification of key developmental experiences and positions.
Minimum Education/Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree; concentration in organizational development, education, business, human resources, adult learning or related field
· 5 – 7 years of training and development experience, including 5 or more years of classroom training and 5 or more years of corporate level program development and deployment
· Understands business strategy and translates to learning solutions to support the employee base
· Demonstrates superior facilitation skills.
