Director, Content Service Operations

 

 

Virgin Mobile USA is looking for an industry expert to drive excellence around our Content Service Operations. You will play a strong leadership role in continuing to define our product management and programming efforts throughout our data/content operations. We're looking for a top-notch operations lead who will get a charge out of helping us change the way we look at wireless services and offer the best programming of mobile content in the business so we can continue to drive our competitors crazy.

This job will not be for the weak or faint hearted. You will be responsible for the day-today management of VMU's content management systems and catalog. You will work with internal teams and business partners to push for operational and process excellence for mobile data content like ringtones, wallpapers, games, applications, WAP sites, video and more.

 

Act as a primary point of contact with our Content Partners for content onboarding, include music labels, studios, game developers, and other content aggregators. Drive management reporting activities, for internal/external product management purposes and partner settlement efforts. Manage daily activities of external service partner resources for certification and testing of content, and ensure data readiness for new device launches. If you’re unafraid to throw your hat in the ring for this one, make sure you bring solid Content Management System operations experience, preferably with mobile content types and management systems to the table. You should have a proven working history with leading content providers, including major music labels, TV/Movie studios, and other wireless developers. Experience with WAP/Web/SMS products is undoubtedly needed. An understanding of general Licensing & Royalty procedures and variables is required, as well as solid project management skills and experience.
