Development and Deployment Testing - Part time
StatPoint, Inc. develops and markets statistical software for Windows. Our statistical analysis software solutions provide insight into and interpretation of business data in order to improve quality in manufacturing operations, product quality and management objectives, revealing to customers how their process standards impact their products, services and customers.
Development and Deployment Testing-Part time
As a member of the development and deployment testing team, you will assist in testing the installation and configuration of the statistical software product line by executing, recording and verifying test cases and reporting software defects found and verifying fixes. You will work with the quality assurance team to assure functionality and reliability of products, as well as the following:
· Maintain a log of testing activities
· Work with Senior Product Quality Assurance Engineer to develop test scheduling and priorities.
Qualifications:
· Associate’s degree or accredited college or university student seeking a degree in Computer Science or a related mathematical or quantitative field
· Experience using, developing or supporting windows and web-based applications
· Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
· Ability to function productively both independently and as part of a team performing both routine and complex testing
· Superb computer hardware knowledge and skills
· In-depth knowledge of MS Office Suite, Word, Excel and Outlook
· Diligence and punctuality critical
Experience and knowledge desired
· Experience with and/or knowledge of software testing concepts
· Experience in software validation, evaluation and verification compliance testing
· Knowledge of leading operating systems and platforms
· Experience performing similar work in software compliance testing
