Desktop Support / PC Technician (80% travel)

The ideal candidate will be part of a team of Programmer Analysts that provide support to client's corporate business units by designing, programming and implementing efficient and effective systems solutions.

In the role you will:
Perform application design activities by translating functional specifications provided by business systems analysts Write detailed design specifications for application requirements which include business rules, screens, interfaces, security, reports and definition of data and error messages Write program code, test and debug applications Assist with testing and implementation of software upgrades and patches that affect applications Provide technical support for vendor applicationsRequirements for this role include:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 5 years in designing, developing, testing and implementation as well as experience translating business requirements into technical specifications Proficiency with ASP.NET using C#, DB2, HTML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX, and Stored Procedures (SQL) Excellent analytical and problem solving skills Ability to effectively plan work activities and provide project manager with time estimates A self-starter who can work both independently and as part of a team Good interpersonal and communication skills An understanding of UML, Design Patterns and SQL Server 2005 would be a plus
