General Summary: The focus of a Daily Rating Representative is to analyze trendsin customer usage patterns to develop solutions within Alltel s revenue riskparameters. Identify alternative solutions to address potential savings anddiverse customer needs in an effort to decrease involuntary and voluntary churnand reduce bad debt. Work in a Universal (VII & Cellware) billing system,Debt Manager and the Moslax Dialer. Proactively contact customers before thebill arrives to discuss high usage bills. Responsible for negotiating payment inmany cases before the first billing, determining the correct plan (based onprior usage), and applying the appropriate adjustment amount. Continuedemployment for this position is contingent upon successful completion of theAlltel training process, which includes the New Hire Training Assessment.Minimum Requirements: Above average telephone and communications skills (verbaland listening). Effective interpersonal skills are required to interface withend-user customers and sensitive calls that can be misunderstood by thecustomer. Able to handle negotiations with customers and recommendproduct/service options to reduce unexpected high dollar bill amounts. Familiarwith Alltel collection practices, current price plans, feature options, andcalling area guidelines for the entire company. Able to make appropriate priceplan changes. Able to understand relationships between rate plans, features,billing errors, and customer needs to optimize customer service. Proficient inoperating a personal computer with Windows Operating System. Education andExperience: High School diploma or equivalent and 2+ years experience with 1-2years directly related to the job. College hours or a college degree may besubstituted for some experience as deemed appropriate. Desired Qualifications:Experience as Alltel Customer Service Representative or Financial ServiceRepresentative for at least 12 months.
