Customer Retention Specialist

Access One is a privately held telecommunications company operating with the same ownership since its inception. Access One continues to experience growth and expansion.  We are current in search of a Customer Retention Specialist.  The Customer Retention Specialist manages aspects of the relationship with Access One's customers.  This position is responsible for providing assistance in meeting sales objectives by proactively initiating customer contact, renewing of existing customer services, seeking new business opportunities with existing customers, and maintaining contact with clients in order to facilitate a positive and productive long-term business relationship. 

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.Retain current customers and revenue.Assist in building and maintaining client relationships through the development and execution of post-sales support plans.Identify and recommend action plans to address new service opportunities consistent with overall company strategy.Maintain stated retention and revenue growth goals.Limited local travel may be required.

Competencies:Maintain detailed knowledge of Access One's telecommunications products and services in order to identify appropriate solutions for customers.Capable of managing customer accounts at both a management and technical level.Must be comfortable conducting face to face meetings with customers on a regular basis.Demonstrate accuracy, thoroughness and attention to detail.Complete administrative tasks correctly and in a timely manner to ensure efficient processing of customer transactions.Prioritize work and use time efficiently.  Capable of handling substantial workload and competing demands simultaneously.  Ability to successfully operate and thrive in a fast paced environment that is constantly changing.

Education and Experience Requirements:

Bachelor's degree from a four-year College or University.  1 to 2 years related sales and/or telecom experience is preferred.  Knowledge of telecommunications equipment is highly desired.  Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products.
