Sales/Retail/Business Development p { font-size: 11px; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; line-height: 12px; } Responsibilities Responsibilities: Sponsorship Management · Responsible for implementation and development of regional sponsorship opportunities / partnerships including tracking of Return on Investment (ROI).· Responsible for coordination and successful execution of events including strategy development, project management, and onsite assistance.Ability to evaluate specific sponsorship opportunities based on value to VZW: sales, media/marketing, customer loyalty, PR, community awareness, etc.· This position is also required to manage projects and trades for services including standardizing trade agreements and any grandfathered trades.· Research and secure new opportunities to maximize VZW presence, Grass Roots marketing, events, public relations opportunities and ROI sponsorship programs.· Manage sponsorship budgets as well as seeking opportunities and elements within existing sponsorship agreements. · Implement tracking reports for, manage and communicate the following: ROI, ticket inventory, sponsorship calendar/events, budgets and trades. · Develop and work on site at events such as Employee Days, Grand Openings, including but not limited to successful "All Hands Employee Kickoffs" and more.This regional position will interface with Area Operations and Marketing at all levels on a weekly basis.Marketing and MediaIn addition, this role is responsible for partnering with the Area and Regional team in a leadership role to develop, coordinate and implement new project plans and programs that build Customer Loyalty and Reduce Churn.This position will manage marketing sponsorship elements to support sales initiatives in our Regional Sales Channels. Responsibilities surround specific sales channel initiatives to Grow Customer's Faster, Ensure Every Customer Recommends Us, Widen Our Highest Best Revenue Lead, and Lead in Profitability:· Assisting in building and executing marketing sponsorship plans for South Area, coordinating efforts with Area and channels. · Individual will manage and focus on increasing customer's use of enhanced features, data products and accessories.· Develop market-specific marketing sponsorship plans and programs to drive targeted market share growth including retail store activity and business channel activations.· Measure results based on market penetration targets· Partner with regional PR department to manage and maximize community involvement· Utilize demographic and research software such as Claritas, iMark, and Prime Location to analyze and evaluate sponsorship programs· Schedule requires a minimum of 35% travel, nights and weekends. p { font-size: 11px; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; line-height: 12px; } Qualifications · Bachelor level degree and/or equivalent work experience· Minimum 5 yrs related sponsorship/ sales / marketing experience· Working knowledge of media/marketing opportunities and their associated values such as print advertising, signage, FM/AM radio, TV, online, etc.· Excellent analytical, organizational, written and verbal communication skills· Strong negotiation, sales skills, and ability to build and manage relationships is critical· The ability to support and facilitate the development of other's knowledge and skills, providing timely feedback and guidance to help reach goals· Ability to make strong strategic business decisions, developing creative and innovative solutions to maximize resources and results.· Successfully communicates ideas and recommendations to all levels within the organization using tact, common courtesy, persuasion, negotiation and discretion to achieve objectives. · Strong presentation skills, and the ability to present ideas and complex information effectively to individuals or groups with little time frame for preparation· Able to identify and escalate potential issues as well as implement recommended solutions· Able to establish measurement and feedback systems, acting as a catalyst for change· In depth knowledge of Industry, Loyalty, consumer and business account customer service, and sales· Experience with addressing employee concerns and interpreting policies and procedures· Ability to meet aggressive deadlines, manage multiple projects simultaneously and to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, customer and team-oriented work environment.· Wireless billing system experience/knowledge is a plus.
