MAJOR DUTIES: (May perform any or all of the following duties.)
-Monitor and control construction by outside contractor.
-Review, approve and track contractor invoices.
-Assist with reports on capital projects and construction progress.
-Meets with design and commercial development personnel.
-Coordinates with developers and outside engineering firms.
-Secure permits from utilities, DOT, Rail Road, appropriate local, state and federal agencies.
-Liaison with utilities, state and local authorities on redevelopment and projects.
-Review and resolve customer request and complaints.
-Quality assurance and documentation of construction work and safe working practices.
-Perform other duties as assigned.
-Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance.


Required Skills:
Education:
High School Diploma or the recognized equivalent in experience and self-study. (three years of related work experience)

Experience:
Two to three years cable construction, maintenance and plant activation.
Valid driver's license and good driving record.
Versed on CATV construction specifications and safety procedures.
Knowledge of MDU and underground construction techniques and construction material.
Minimum of 3 years maintenance/line experience.
Experience in coaxial splicing, plant activation, troubleshooting and signal level meter.
Possess cooperative and positive attitude towards customers, employees and company.
Strong organizational skills and must be self motivated.
