POSITION SUMMARY:
-Contact customers with delinquent accounts to request payment.
-Update collection activity on each account contacted.
REQUIREMENTS:
-Contact customers by telephone and/or mail to collect past due balances and to advise of Pending Disconnection of service on delinquent accounts.
-Provide information to subscribers concerning biling problems, delinquencies, and collection procedures.
-Input account information via CRT into computer to ensure accurate and timely account status.
-Reschedule and cancel disconnects and restart disconnected accounts as appropriate by account status.
-Perform other related duties as assigned.
-Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance.

Required Skills:
-High School diploma or the recognized equivalent.
-Basic knowledge of billing procedures. Good verbal communication skills.
-One year of working experience preferably in a Collection Department or a related functional area.
-Must have pleasant phone manner with aggressive collection skills.

Ability to work overtime, as needed.

HOURS: Sunday 2pm to 8pm and Monday through Thursday 3pm to 9PM-29 hours per week.
