Required Skills:
Comcasts Everett Call Center has immediate entry level customer service positions available in the Cable TV Repair Department. Call Center Representatives handle a large volume of incoming phone calls and interact with customers to handle covering a full range of customer service needs in a prompt and professional manner with an ultimate goal of single call resolution for the customer. The representative will be responsible for relating well to the customer, articulating the advantages of our company over the competition, thinking and exercising sound judgment, and acting responsibly in the customers and the companys best interests. Under training and work direction, the representatives provide prompt resolution to customers phone inquiries regarding our Cable TV product, troubleshooting and customer support. Other responsibilities include demonstrating courtesy, patience and troubleshooting skills in customer relations. Become cross trained to support sales, billing or other inbound calls. Represent Comcast in a professional and positive manner in all situations. Perform all other related duties as assigned, punctual, regular, and consistent attendance is required.
Comcast offers a competitive starting wage of $11.63 per hour along with opportunities for commission and career growth. Hourly compensation increases an additional $1 per hour for proven bilingual skills (Spanish/English) and also $1.50 per hour for shifts that regularly end after 8 p.m.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have:
- One year of customer service experience
- Proficient PC skills in a Windows based environment
- The ability to thrive in a busy face paced self directed environment
- Must have a stable work history and a strong work ethic
Training classes begin on October 6th, 2008. Our call center is a 24/7 operation; you must be able to work a flexible shift that may include evenings, weekends and holidays.
You must be able to provide a High School Diploma or GED and pass a criminal background check and a drug screen.
