Job Purpose: Plans, directs, and coordinates focused marketing activities or programs of Occam by performing the following duties personally or through freelance contractors. -Leads efforts to ensure Occam solutions partners are working smoothly with Occam through effective through communication, planned events and technical interop. This includes the development of special promotions or programs to motivate sales of particular combinations of Occam and partner products.-Coordinates with Engineering Interoperability Testing on the priorities of interop testing-Manages the Occam Packet Access Network Alliance, including communication with partners. Works in conjunction with the marketing department on the recruitment, testing, retention and joint promotion of Occam partnerships.-Coordinates the securing of partner sponsors for the annual ONUG conference-Work to ensure Occams brand is promoted at assigned industry associations and trade events. This can include involvement with association marketing councils. Requirements:-BS Business or Marketing or equivalent is desired.-A minimum of 2-5 years of related experience in telecommunications industry. -Demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills, good collaborative skills, and have experience in proposal writing.-Current knowledge of the broadband access, Digital Loop Carrier (DLC), packet voice and/or IP market and technologies.
