Reports to:  Manager, Service Engineering

 

 

Job Summary

 

The Business Analyst for Supplier Integration is responsible for the set of activities associated with analyzing and mapping electronic invoices and will be accountable for the accuracy of customer invoice billing from that point.  Responsibilities will be executed for one or more concurrent customer contracts based on workload.  This position may also support initiating interfaces with carriers.  The Business Analyst role does not have direct/line management responsibilities. 

 

Qualifications

 

Skills and Experience:

5 years experience across:Enterprise-side business processes for managing telecom services including invoice processing/approvals, service ordering, and contract management.Enterprise-side finance processes for IT management, particularly cost allocation and charge-back.Voice, data and wireless technologies and services.Customer requirement analysis and validation.Use of Microsoft Access and other relational databases.A proficiency in EDI 811 and EDIFACT.

 

 

Desired Skills:Telecom audit experience for enterprise customers.Familiarity with carriers’ telecom service contracting, ordering, and billing processes.Customer presentations and communication Knowledge managementMicrosoft Office including VisioAbility to work with technical and non-technical teams

 

 

Key ResponsibilitiesWorking with carriers to determine optimal billing products for electronic invoicing.Mapping electronic invoices from carrier formats into Avotus format.Requirements gathering with internal auditors, customers, and invoice processors.Translate business requirements to enable efficient software development.Ensure invoice and inventory mapping discrepancies are reconciled.
