Responsibilities Effectively manage single IBX facility maintenance for all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, direct and train operations team in a manner that achieves availability objectives of 99.999% or better. Achievement of this level of availability requires effective management of personnel activities, thorough training, and a comprehensive knowledge of central plant systems and the specific redundancy features of the systems. Manage multiple IBX projects involving customer equipment, capital improvements, and computerized preventive maintenance and repair system. Respond on an as-needed basis to emergencies - such as system failures, fire alarms, severe weather, etc., 24 x 7, and arrange for backup when not available. Manage single IBX engineer team personnel administration duties, including salary, reviews, and disciplinary action. Implement and enforce corporate safety, health and environmental policies, including activities of outside contractors, to insure no adverse affect on the operation of the facility. Requirements Required Minimum 5 - 10 years experience in facility maintenance, operations and management field. Must have Supervisor level experience and demonstrated ability to lead multiple trade disciplines. Must possess valid engineers license if required by state laws. Required ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, have effective written and verbal communications skills, ability to use Windows, Outlook, Excel, and Word. The successful candidate must be able to personally perform and supervise all required plant maintenance tasks, as well as produce all reports and documentation. Conducts purchasing activities in a fiscally responsible manner. Assists in development of capital improvement plans. Assume facility management duties in the absence of Site Manager and perform other duties as assigned.
