There is an end to end focus and responsibility for both the application and the system's architecture when providing solutions. Responsibilities would also include coordinating assigned activities with other divisions, departments, and external partners.  Providing complex administrative support to the Director or Vice President of IT. Manages resource allocation and budget needs for a single site or city.  Responsible for managing career paths, HR issues, additional headcount, and final approval on all new hires. Responsible for the design, development and implementation of complex IT systems and procedures where majority of the guidelines are set at a higher level. Analyzes user requirements, evaluates options, recommends solutions and projects and manages the implementation of complex systems. Ensures break-fix development and maintenance of applications with 24X7 production support. Analyzes short and long-term business IT requirements. Ensures economic and efficient availability of systems within adequate safeguards for both security and integrity. At least 10 years of experience. JOB DESCRIPTION:  Assumes management responsibility for the assigned break-fix incidents and change requests work for the Enterprise System team, including overseeing the operation, support, maintenance and development of the company's Financial, HR, Call Center Workforce, Database Administration and Enterprise Reporting and Analytic applications. Administers, manages and oversees technical support of various the company's Financial, HR, Call Center Workforce, Database Administration and Enterprise Reporting and Analytic applications to ensure their integrity and continuous operation for 24X7 support. Fine tunes for high availability. Monitors processes and determines and implements solutions to user problems. Work with internal and vendor on-shore/off-shore peers enabling project and task delivery and resource prioritization, coordination and scheduling Actively oversees systems analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation of point releases resulting from change requests. Develops or validates required system documentation and provides technical direction and support. Identifies systems and architecture (Application and Hardware) needs for ongoing changes, maintenance, and support; develops solutions, makes recommendations to enhance application design and analysis, and programming/database techniques. Serves as the liaison with other divisions, departments, and outside agencies. Responds to and resolves requests, inquiries, and issues. Effectively communicates maintenance and support expectations to team members and stakeholders; sets and continually manages application development team expectations. Develops and delivers progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations. Responds to hardware and software inquiries related to maintenance and support of program. Reviews integrity of systems, database designs and programs. Works with software and hardware vendors in the evaluation, purchase and maintenance of software packages and hardware requirements. Plans, directs, coordinates, and reviews the work plan for assigned staff. Assigns work activities, projects, and programs. Reviews and evaluates work products, methods, and procedures. Meets with staff to identify and resolve problems. Serves as Project Director on large software installations and/or upgrades involving staff from multiple departments. Ensures that projects comply with company's standards and strategic direction. Determines and assesses the need for additional staff and/or consultants for maintenance and support and makes the appropriate recruitments, if necessary. Manages and participates in the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies, and priorities for assigned programs.  Recommends action plans to fulfill business requirements.  Based on need costing models including total cost of ownership (TCO) planning and analysis will also be performed. Monitors and evaluates the efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery methods and procedures. Recommends, within departmental policy, appropriate service and staffing levels. Selects, trains, motivates, and evaluates assigned personnel. Provides or coordinates staff training.  Works with employees to correct deficiencies. Manages and mentors IT development team members, contractors, and vendor relationships. Supports best practices and tools for project execution and management.   Qualifications REQUIREMENTS:  Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electronic and  Communications Engineering, or other degree in Math and  Sciences Minimum of 10 years working experience in IT. Applications Development, out of which 3 years in a lead/supervisory role. Experience in IT project management and systems development Thorough understanding of business processes and requirements, thorough understanding of database design Excellent project control skills Multiple broad-based applications experience Strong knowledge of general business practices Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills to interface with all levels of management, project stakeholders, outside business  contacts, users and IT staff Experience with managing and working in an on-shore/off-shore model eTelecare is one of the most honored delivery centers in the world with over 60 awards globally.How to ApplyOnline:www.eTelecareCareers.com   eTelecare -- Our Growth.
