Analyst-Treasury

p { font-size: 11px; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; line-height: 12px; } Responsibilities This position is responsible for performing various general ledger activities, reconciliations and Sarbanes Oxley processes for Treasury Organization. The Treasury Analyst's responsibilities include but not limited to the following:· Perform daily reconciliation of various sub ledger systems, bank and general ledger. Investigate and resolve any out-of-balance items or unapplied items.· Create adjusting journal entries for various cash clearing accounts related to Treasury Operations.· Maintain monthly reconciliations for assigned general ledger accounts.· Communicate account discrepancies, control weakness, compliance issues, and other general Treasury issues. Recommend process improvements and/or measures to mitigate issue.· Provide quarterly updates to Treasury controls documentation for compliance with Sarbanes Oxley and perform assigned quarterly controls testing.· Collaborate with Treasury's management to resolve open issues or compliance issues pertaining to Treasury responsibilities.· Identify and recommend, process improvements, corrective actions, and efficiencies to Treasury Management and, if approved, manage implementation effort.· Compile daily, monthly and weekly statistics reports for upper Management.· Review and approve /deny credit card refunds in sub ledger to balance the daily transmission.· Evaluate and approve/deny refund general ledger coding requests for VZW TOPS System.· Coordinate and conduct training and set up of Treasury processes for Assistants.· Actively participate in new projects and initiatives as directed by Management. p { font-size: 11px; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; line-height: 12px; } Qualifications BS/BA in Accounting or Finance or related field required Strong oral and written communication skills.Ability to communicate complex information clearly and precisely.Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills; Proficiency in Excel and Word.Working knowledge of relevant billing and general ledger systems.Ability to work well independently and in a team environment.
