Job Title: Administrative Assistant I

This position will provide administrative support for the Director, work closely with Operations and Finance, and interface with employees at all levels of the organization. Actively participates as part of projects.

 

Essential functions:

- Researches and cost information from travelers and enters into SAP. Completes orders prior to invoicing. Works with Operations to research missing data and improve processes.

- Prepares, modifies, and analyzes complex reports focusing on production and finances for the Director and others as assigned. Creates graphs and charts using Excel, and reports using Word.

- Processes timecards for hourly employees including entering timecard hours on spreadsheet to submit to payroll, entering PTO time in SAP.

- Coordinates internal and external input for projects. Completes specific tasks for projects as assigned by the director or others as assigned.

- Provides administrative support to the Director, to support and promote a positive and productive working environment. Responsible for handling confidential information, assisting with travel plans.

- Check and distributes mail, receive and screens telephone calls, letters and/or visitors. Organizes and expedites flow of work in office by maintaining files and supplies, correspondence/records and independently follows up on pending matters.

 

Qualifications:

• Associates Degree, BS preferred, CAP (Certified Administrative Professional) a plus, with two or more years of directly related experience.

• Five plus years of Administrative Experience.

• Highly proficient computer skills in word processing, spreadsheet, database, Internet research skills, presentation software, Andrew Corporation applications. SAP experience a plus.

• Requires excellent oral/written communication skills as well as excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work.

•  Strong organizational and follow through skills.

• Ability to work well in a team environment as well as work independently.

• Ability to analyze and report on financial, production and/or other quantitative data.
