Accounting Manager (Jackson, Mississippi) 55024033
- Supervise Accounts Payable and Payroll personnel within the system.
- Ensure proper month end reports are filed on time and correctly.
- Report on monthly financial results and budget variances.
- Assist Business Manager in annual forecasts and budget preparation.
- Ensure compliance with external and internal audit procedures.
- Prepare accounts analysis and work on special projects as assigned.
- Monitor employee production and assign job tasks.
- Develop employees for future growth.
- Monitor and reconcile inventory.
- Provide courteous, helpful assistance to internal and external customers
and vendors.
- Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance is required
Required Skills:
- Minimum of 2 years of CATV experience preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years accounting work experience.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or the recognized equivalent
combination of education and experience.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work harmoniously with other employees at various
organizational levels.
- Plan, prioritize, and organize work with appropriate timeliness
and follow instructions/specifications.
- Spreadsheet proficiency.
