Reporting to the Indirect Sales Manager of Partner Sales, the successful candidate will be an integral part of the rapidly-expanding Jitterbug Indirect Sales Team.  Jitterbug is currently seeking highly motivated, self-starting individuals who have what it takes to drive sales growth in their assigned territory. You will be given much latitude to build relationships and maximize sales at the store level. You should possess a keen interest in business development and the desire to “go the extra mile” to achieve and exceed sales goals.  Qualified individuals will have demonstrated experience in sales and business development, specifically in outside sales and/or the wireless industry.  This position will start as Temporary status for a 90 day trial period but will then be eligible for Regular employment including benefits...if you can prove yourself.

Job Description:



To plan and carry out sales activities to maintain, develop and increase sales of Distributors within assigned territory.

 

·Drive sales growth for both Distributors.

·Identify new business opportunities (expand territory)

·Meet/exceed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

·Ability to demonstrate the value proposition of Jitterbug to a traditional and non-traditional wireless store.

·Maintain and develop a strong working relationship with key contacts within each channel

·Maintain and develop positive relationship with internal departments

·Plan and carry out marketing activities within agreed MDF/Co-Op budgets.

·Respond to and follow up sales inquiries by telephone and/or personal visits.

·Monitor and report on activities and provide relevant management information.

·Stay abreast of the competitive landscape within your assigned territory and in the industry. Filter the information to your accounts at all levels.

·Maintain and report all store visits and monthly telephone contacts

·Attend/participate in all company required meetings, conference calls and training classes/courses.

·Conduct training in both formal and informal settings in a collaborative, results oriented manner

 

Execute to Drive Sales

 

I. Store Visits

 

·Identify locations to visit based on top/middle/bottom performers (quartile analysis) and develop monthly strategy of which locations to visit and when, focusing on locations that can make the biggest impact to achieve weekly/monthly/quarterly goals.

 

·Observe sales techniques, provide on the spot coaching/sales training, verify proper merchandising/display, evaluate inventory levels, mystery shop, provide support and motivation to assure understanding and buy-in of the Jitterbug value with Store Owners, Patient Care Coordinators and Dealers.

 

II. Monthly Calls

 

·Determine which locations to contact (top/middle/bottom) and when.

·Call 10% of total locations - minimum of one phone touch- base per month with Store Owners and/or PCCs.

·These calls will begin within 30 days of start date and should include mystery shopping, discussions about inventory levels, merchandising/displays, contests, activations, any challenges or required training.

 

III.  Q/A  Measurements – KPI’s

 

·Weekly phone reviews between PSS, ISM & Sr. Mgr to discuss strategy of previous weeks’ activities, successes and opportunities. Review quartile analysis and develop following week’s activities and targets.

 

·Monthly phone/personal sit-down reviews between PSS & ISM to discuss results of previous months’ activities, successes and opportunities. Review quartile analysis and develop following month’s activities, targets, and strategy.

·Excellent customer service skills with ability to respond with a sense of urgency

·Computer skills: Must possess intermediate skill level of MS Office 2007
