Troubleshoot single customer problems on the CDV network, using tools that can correlate network issues to customer trouble tickets.
Monitor and manage ticket queues to provide timely response on a multitude of ticketed customer issues.
Identify, isolate and determine a resolution for HFC or network issues.
Generate Network Tickets for plant, rf global call quality issues and work with dispatch and LMC to coordinate resolutions.
Perform customer call-backs and proactive communications to determine the success of troubleshooting and repair activity.
Perform Notifications and Escalations with Technicians, Supervisors, Technical Managers, Dispatch and Call Center personnel.
Must have excellent understanding of various network architectures including CDV components and telephony network.
Must have solid understanding of CATV forward and return path architecture.
Must understand a majority of the following technologies: TCP/IP, Ethernet, SNMP, FTP, PcAnywhere, Spectrum, Remedy, RF Amplification and Modulation.
