Job Description:  Develops, implements and maintains methods and processes in the manufacture or fabrication of parts, components, sub assemblies and final assemblies.  Controls the release and maintenance of product documentation and specifications.  Interfaces with design engineering in coordinating the release of new products.  Evaluates the designs of existing products and implements re-design efforts to improve performance and/or manufacturability.  Estimates manufacturing expenses and recommends cost reductions in materials, tooling, and processes in new or existing product lines.

 

Job Requirements:  Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent combination of education and hands-on electronics experience.  Requires excellent communication skills, organization, and initiative.  Desired qualifications include the above but with BSEE concentrated in analog/digital circuits or BSEE focused in communications technology and RF/microwave theory.  Familiarity with microwave test equipment is desirable.
