VABIRVABIR Youth Employment Specialist

Needed: a dynamic job developer to provide worksite development, direct job placement and support for youth. Knowledge and skills required include: a desire to work with youth with disabilities, ability to network with a wide variety of people, specifically the business community, knowledge of the local community's resources, an understanding of adolescent behavior and the role of the family, and ability to work as a team member. Computer literacy and reliable transportation a must. Position is 32 hours a week, with potential to increase to 40 hours. Wage starts at $12/hour with benefits and is based in Rutland area.
