94464 World class Financial Services firm in downtown Manhattan seeks a strong Vice President with a mix of public accounting (Big 4) and Accounting / Finance responsibilities in the Financial Services industry! Our client offers top compensation, outstanding benefits, and a chance to work for a world-renowned leader! The Vice President will be involved with various accounting, financial management, and reporting duties. The VP will review legal books and records, review partnership agreements, perform IRR calculations, manage monthly closings, prepare financial statements, conduct ad-hoc analyses, and manage a staff of several people. Qualified candidates will posses: 7-10+ years of Accounting and Finance experience in the Financial Services industry; STRONG preference for candidates with a public accounting foundation and/or a CPA. Thorough understanding of financial entities, investment vehicles, partnerships and the Private Equity industry. Proven track record of developing staff.
