Unique Part Time (P/T) Opportunity

A national staffing and recruitment firm is looking for an Internet Researcher for their New York office based in Melville, Long Island. This is a part time position currently (15-20hrs. per week).

 

As an Internet Researcher you will be seeking out candidates to fill existing job opportunities via the Internet. You must be very comfortable with all aspects of the Internet, Microsoft Outlook and general computer maintenance. Extensive experience with the Internet is required as well as a willingness to learn new technology.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

 Process all requests of posting job orders on job boards Conduct active candidate searches – either through major job boards, niche boards or search engines Conduct active company searches – utilize all resources to obtain and update all client resource information Compile general information for our recruiters such as company lists, association memberships and other non-recruiting information Update and maintain the company website Train new employees on the function of the Internet Team Suggest ways to improve the Internet function as well as make recommendations on Internet subscription purchases Participate in forums, attend meetings and read websites pertaining to Internet Research techniques. Assist with any computer-related maintenance and backups



Qualifications:

 Previous research experience a plus Excellent written and verbal communication (phone) Ability to interact effectively with coworkers and candidates Computer Literacy-Internet, Google, Outlook, MS Office Ability to multitask and prioritize Ability to work in a team environment Energy and enthusiasm
