Systems Analyst - New Position
Systems Analyst A well-respected, global Cincinnati company is seeking a key systems professional to join the organization’s IT/Applications department. This individual will work on projects developing systems to satisfy the company’s needs, and may work independently on assigned projects requiring skills in specific technologies such as:The System’s Analyst will participate in the planning phase and will be responsible for analysis, design, and constructions phase of the project(s). This organization embraces a clearly defined career path, and has a reputation for attracting and keeping top talent in the industry. Duties & Responsibilities: Provide support to existing systems and databases. Help establish cost requirements and schedule for assigned activities. Provide input into evaluation of application design alternatives. Assists in evaluating alternative hardware/software that meet business requirements and approved technology platforms. Participate in business systems design and technical design of applications from a user perspective. Participate in application walk-throughs and develop documentation for production system. Work closely with the global source code development group throughout unit and QA testing. Participate in user acceptance testing and provide user training. Provide maintenance and enhancements to system to support changing business needs.Requirements/Qualifications: 0 - 3 years of experience in systems analysis, design, application development, and business systems support. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent Proven experience with the following technologies: SQL Database, AS/400, web/developement technologies, EAI, EDI, and business intelligence (OLAP).
