We are seeking a recruiter to work in a consultative capacity, helping owner-operated firms around the country, hire staff. Prior experience recruiting, screening and hiring for management, technical, or sales positions, or business consulting experience is a plus. Alternatively, if you have been a business owner and have experienced the joys and frustrations of attracting, hiring and retaining top talent we encourage you to apply. This position offers a base hourly wage of $14 to $20 per hour depending on experience plus commission for successful hires, and for certain additional products. Total annual compensation ranges from $30K to $50K.

Our recruiters are responsible for implementing professional recruiting services for companies around the country. Work with steak holders, owners and managers to implement the NewHire Candidate Management Software and provide recruiting consulting and services at a variety of levels depending on client needs. We are committed to the highest level of customer satisfaction possible. Our recruiters are also responsible for writing attractive employment advertising, and training new customers to use the NewHire software.

Responsibilities Include: Working with clients to assess their precise hiring needs, using consultative techniques Preparing job descriptions, NewHire pre-employment applications and job advertisements Providing NewHire training and support Identifying top talent for a variety of positions in a variety of industries by screening and interviewing Recommending additional services such as skills testing and background checks Coordinating candidates’ interviews with clients Maintaining regular contact with your client accounts to understand their ongoing recruiting needs.

Successful Candidates will possess: Bachelor’s degree 1-2 years minimum experience working in an office environment Experience managing, recruiting or hiring in a small business environment a plus Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to converse with both clients and candidates from all backgrounds
