Software Engineer Coldfusion

What you will do: - Design, implement and test software applications using a variety of technologies, including, but not limited to: HTML, DHTML, XML, Javascript, SQL Coldfusion, ASP, ASP.NET, JSP, PHP - Provide third tier support to customer managers and customer support teams. - Responsible for own schedules and communications of the status of all tasks - Must be able to work with moderate direct supervision - Interact with the QA Analyst to define test plans and test data; identify reproduce and document defects; fix and verify defects - Scope and clarify requirements or suggest changes during the implementation of the enhancements - Interact with the Engineering team to identify, design and implement the user interface portions of the company’s applications - Communicate with Network Operations to identify and solve production equipment or software issuesQualifications of the Ideal Candidate: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent preferred. - 3 to 5 years developing web applications with HTML, DHTML, XML, Javascript, SQL, and one or more of the following (Coldfusion, ASP, ASP.NET, JSP, PHP) - Experience in software development methodology and lifecycle (requirements, design, development, testing, support).  Agile development experience is a plus. - Experience developing products in a marketing related field (CRM) a plus - Responsible, Proactive and Flexible working style - Ability to stay on budget and within given timeframes - Willingness to learn new skills and grow in role and responsibilities - Strong written and verbal skills - Ability to communicate technical issues clearly to individuals with various levels of technical understandingInterested in applying or have questions about this opportunity?  Email your resume and/or questions to carolpaquin@spherion.com for confidential consideration.  This is a FREE service to job seekers!
