Job Description Software Engineer DescriptionWe are looking for a Software Engineer to join our fast-paced team development team.  This position is based in Boston, MA. SummaryAs part of the MIS team, you will participate in the design, development, implementation and support of our web-based applications across the enterprise.  These applications may include but are not limited to: our company website, company intranet, a proprietary employee time tracking system, a proprietary HR applicant tracking system, and data feeds that may flow between these and other systems. Responsibilities Review and participate in the creation of technical design documents Create and update company-wide web pages (user interface, content, etc) Design / develop middle tier business logic for existing web applications Design and modify SQL stored procedures, SQL jobs where applicable Participate in Unit Testing along with SIT and UAT planning Communicate required changes to move code into the production environment Contribute to ongoing maintenance and bug fixes as needed Qualifications 4-6 years programming with full project life cycle experience Able to work proficiently in all areas of an n-tiered distributed application, from UI to middle tier to a database back-end Proficient in the following technologies: C#, ASP.NET, ASP, SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and a desire to work in a challenging position Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills Self-motivated and self-directed  Detailed oriented with the ability to juggle multiple projects, tasks, and deadlines   Desired Skills BizTalk AJAX XML, XSL/T COM, COM+ Business Unit Overview: Veritude, a Fidelity Investments company, was founded in 1986 as the internal provider for Fidelity’s North American staffing needs.
