Position Description:

 

Responsible for full-cycle recruitment for all business units for the San Jose, CA campus and provide a high-touch, consultative, and highly-tailored recruiting strategy and service for all corporate hiring needs.Responsible for leading and directing all aspects of the recruiting process.Develops and provides recruiting, staffing and employment services.Self-directed, detail-oriented, problem solver with a burning desire to contribute to the organization’s reputation and success. Ensures that staffing initiatives are met and are consistent with the overall business direction.Develops drives and executes comprehensive search strategies designed to recruit senior and niche candidates.Engage key staffing and business partners in order to understand the needs of the client as well as attain internal expertise of the profile and map to external marketplace.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of top Atmel business, technology and competitors.Provide a “slate� of external candidates to hiring groups while employing strategic consulting and influencing skills in order to provide staffing expertise and recommendations.Able to organize, plan, implement and report on project.Able to multi task and take on additional assignments as presented by the Director of Talent Acquisition and the Human Resources team.Must possess a team player mentality with a can do attitude.

 

 

Position Requirements:

 Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or other related field is preferred. A minimum of 5 years applicable experience in high-tech recruiting, preferably in a technical/corporate environment is required. Experience could be in place of applicable degree.Ability to build close relationships with customer groups, understand their business needs, influence business unit management and create a value-add to the organization is required. Must have strong interpersonal, presentation and communication skills, and have a proven track record of results in a corporate environment.In-depth knowledge of applicant tracking systems, various staffing models, managing recruitment campaigns, candidate generation techniques is required.Solid understanding of EEO, AA, and OFCCP regulations is required.Behavioral Interviewing, direct and Internet research/sourcing is also required. Demonstrated understanding and use of complex Boolean Logic is required.AIRS Certification is strongly preferred.
