KSR provides staffing services on a temporary, temporary to hire, and direct hire placement to a broad spectrum of industries including biotechnology, chemical, environmental, food science, pharmaceutical, oil and gas, and petrochemical.We are currently seeking a Scientific Recruiter for our Houston, TX location. The qualified candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the candidate selection process including recruiting, interviewing, and hiring. Reporting to the District Manager, this individual will also be responsible for Kelly Temporary Employee management and providing excellent customer service to our clients, candidates, and employees. Responsibilities include:- Recruitment, selection, and placement of scientific professionals- Screen and evaluate resumes, making resume revision recommendations when necessary- Interview and submit qualified candidates to customers ensuring customer expectations are met in a timely manner- Assist in the design, implementation, and management of recruiting and retention strategies- Fully utilize recruiting resources such as Job Fairs, Internet, Professional Organizations, Networking, and Cold Calling- Maintain and establish customer relationships through employee placement, quality checks, and conducting sales/service calls.- Must have the ability to take a team-oriented, service minded approach to working with recruiters, sales professionals, managers, and corporate staff - Must adhere to all quality procedures, develop effective multitasking and time management skills, and comply with Kelly's standard operating procedures Ideal candidate will possess:- Bachelor's degree related to Science - Experience working in a laboratory and/or customer service environment - Ability to manage multiple tasks requiring a high attention to detail, meet deadlines, and successfully resolve conflict- Excellent problem solving, time management, organizational, interpersonal, and motivational skills - Professional and friendly communication skills, both verbal and written - Working knowledge of MS Office, Internet, and email systems Learn more about company
