Sales and Marketing Brand Manager-Medical Devices

Manpower permanent placement is currently seeking a high level experienced candidate for our client as a Sales and Marketing Brand Manager. Job summary includes: Identifies market trends, issues and competitive environment and forms strategic plans for products. Leads the effort to initiate new product strategies in the form of supporting existing brands and creating new products. Responsible for the development and execution of comprehensive marketing plans from "cradle to grave", programs, and budgets to meet company sales profit objectives and optimize market opportunities.General Functions –* Leads the marketing development effort to bring new products from concept through commercialization including market exit. * Actively participates in assigned project teams. Acquires product information through market research and regional input to assure projects meet the needs of the intended markets. * Participates in conventions and professional exhibitions to promote company messaging and remain aware of product requirements and new market opportunities. * Develops and maintains product line technical expertise and contacts with key surgeons and customers of product by observing surgery, attending medical/scientific meetings, presentations, and seminars while gathering competitive information. * Develops and manages assigned budgets for administration and marketing activities of the products that are assigned to this responsibility. Analyzes budget variances and recommends corrective actions. Job RequirementsC1,2 or 3 medical device implant experience a must. B.S. degree in business or related science with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.2. MBA or work on an MBA is preferred. 3-5 years product management experience required in medical device.
