Sales/Business Development Representative
Debbie’s Staffing, a leader in the Staffing Industry, focusing on temporary, temp-to-perm and permanent placement in the clerical, administrative, and light industrial staffing is in search of an ENERGETIC, self-motivated Sales/Business Development Representative! The targeted territory for this opportunity will be to aid in expanding our market within the Massachusetts & Rhode Island areas!
The Sales/Business Development Representative will be responsible for new business development growth using effective and strategic selling skills such as conducting sales and service calls using traditional methods (i.e. telephone cold calling, in-person meetings, internet sources, networking, etc.), as well as maintaining business relationships with existing client base. In addition, the incumbent is responsible for creating, preparing, and presenting proposals, conducting presentations, negotiating contracts, evaluating client needs, contract management, attending networking events, and more.
Model candidate possesses a minimum of 3-5 years of previous sales experience with a proven track record. Successful candidates will have a strong motivation to prospect sales and be an effective communicator with top-notch negotiation and closing skills. In addition, presentation skills and strong territory development knowledge is crucial to the success of this position. Incumbent must also have a strong work ethic, the ability to take initiative, and possess a high level of integrity. Previous sales experience within the staffing industry strongly desired but not required. Computer skills that will be expected in this position will include but is not limited to; Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
