SQL Server Database Administrator / Apps Support

92701 Professional firm in downtown Boston seeking "rock solid" SQL Server DBA to manage and support SQL Server database systems. In addition, this role will also help administer a number of database applications and provide technical database support throughout the organization. Primary responsibilities include: Administration and support of SQL Server database systems (installation, upgrades, configuration, monitoring, performance tuning, disaster recovery, troubleshooting, and maintenance. High-level database and enterprise application support. Participation in selection, integration and implementation of applications and database products.To be considered for this role, you should have as much of the following as possible: 3+ years of experience administering SQL Server databases. SQL Server 2005 experience required. 1+ years of experience supporting enterprise applications. 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Reporting Services. Knowledge of Windows, scripting, remote access and networking technologies. Knowledge of business processes, data modeling and project management methodologies.
