SBA/Leasing Loan Specialist

Known for its growth, dependability and financial strength, my client is the fifth largest bank holding company headquartered in Pennsylvania, based on their asset size of $9.2 billion. They are looking for a qualified candidate for their SBA Lending Department. Excellent pay, incentives and benefits. Position: SBA/Leasing Loan Specialist Location: Bethlehem or other appropriate location Description:  - Assist in the development of SBA loan and leasing volume by working with both internal lenders and external referral sources. The position facilitates the booking of SBA loans and leases which in the majority of cases represent loans to new bank customers. Commercial leases are to both exiswting and new bank customers. Individual must gain/have a detailed understanding of SBA regulations and commercial leasing requirements and understand credit issues, in order to determine whether or not to move forward with the request. Requirements: *Bachelor's degree from 4-year college and minimum of 4 yrs experience in a commercial lending environment. *Moderate or better credit/analytical skills. *Good language & reasoning skills. *Good ability to work with multiple employees in various areas of the bank. *Good business development skills. *Ability to make effective presentations to employees & the general public. *Base office but must be willing to travel around the bank's footprint extensively. Some work outside of standard business hours is required.
