We produce customized fertilizers and soil products from agricultural and green waste to satisfy a wide range of end markets including organic farming, environmental land repair and non-residential green space. With unique technologies utilizing gas turbine energy neutral manufacturing and power generation, the Company’s first eco-friendly manufacturing facility, located in the Strathmore, Alberta, Canada area is operational – producing our unique products and generating commercial electricity.Â
Principal Accountabilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Assist the leadership and other team members with strategic and other internal R&D planning including effective collaboration and communications related to products under development Research and identify customer needs for EarthRenew products. Find opportunities to test all types of Company products while identifying possible markets for new and existing markets. Align and manage research and development activities with new product possibilities and related application rates for these new products or combined with existing products.
·        Plan and formulate aspects of research and development proposals including the objective or purpose of project, applications that can be utilized from findings, project costs as well as equipment and human resource requirements.
·        Develop and implement methods and procedures for monitoring projects, such as preparation of records of expenditures and research findings; progress reports; and staff conferences, in order to inform leadership and other team members of the current status of each project.
·        Negotiate collaborations with academia, government and corporations to obtain data or reports.
Track industry trends, relevant legislation, and competitor activities. Review and edit technical, financial and contractual reports to presentation to various  audiences both inside and outside the Company. Present information to potential customers, internal customers, and community partners. Builds and maintains knowledge on current national organic regulations. Maintain positive internal and external customer communications, service and technical support                                                                                                                                                                           Â
 The Individual
With the necessary combination of analytical and people competencies already acquired, you have the demonstrated ability to build and maintain successful relationships with potential customers, internal customers and community partners. A master’s degree from university in agronomy, agriculture, soil, crop or plant sciences or environmental studies will be supplemented by five or more years of related R&D experience. You have a reputation for innovation, synthesizing complex and/or diverse information,  in addition to solid problem solving, project management and communication skills. You identify with corporate objectives, periodic travel and the demands of small but growing organization.
The Location
You will be based in our Fresno, California regional offices with regular travel to other EarthRenew offices, research and service provider locations.  Our orientation process  may include company sponsored  training in our Calgary and/or Strathmore, Alberta Canada host site locations for up to 4 weeks and, as a result, you are required to hold and maintain a valid passport and driver’s license while having no restrictions on your ability to work outside of the U.S.A.
