Their unique platform allows a corporate data center to significantly reduce cost and overhead associated with server allocation while dramatically advancing performance and productivity in the areas of fault-tolerance and provisioning. This company now needs to add a solid, Principal-level Technical Support Engineer for their Windows Enterprise product. In this position, you will provide hands on Windows technical support for enterprise Customers. Your responsibilities will include: Perform technical support of complex customer problems in complex environments as a member of a highly skilled, highly motivated, excellence striving team. Maintain an advanced technical understanding of product suite as well as our competitor's products and technologies while providing technical expertise in specific areas and being directly involved in customer calls. You will be called upon to provide troubleshooting assistance. May work with Product Management to understand competition as well as provide input for keeping product technically ahead of competition. Your knowledge and skills should include: Minimum of BSEE or BSCS and 5+ years of relevant, large-scale Windows administration and deployment experience. A thorough knowledge of all areas of Windows administration, deployment and troubleshooting. Must possess the proven ability to solve complex problems. Large-scale enterprise experience with Microsoft technology including deployment, troubleshooting, administration and performance tuning of one or more of the following: MS Exchange, SQL Server, MS Clustering. Experience using WinPE(RIS) or Altiris. In-depth knowledge of Windows internals. Good understanding of networking infrastructure and operation. User level knowledge of Linux / Unix. Microsoft Cluster Server deployment, management, and troubleshooting experience. Advantageous but not essential technical experience: Exposure to large scale SAN environments. Ability to analyze MPS and Windows Kernel Dump files. Proficiency in C / C++ or other programming language. Practical experience with Windebug.
