Rails Systems Architect - ground floor, product-based start-up
93223 This is the opportunity to join a cutting-edge Ruby on Rails team deploying on Amazon's EC3 cloud computing technology. You're not gambling on page views with this company; you will be joining an early stage, product-based start-up with venture capital firms lining up to offer them their first round of VC funding. You will be designing scalable architecture for deploying a Rails environment on elastic cloud computing technologies. You need to be a strong Linux geek with load balancing experience. You'll need to be confident with performance monitoring tools and database optimization. Since this is a Rails shop, you need to know Ruby and use Capistrano for web application deployment. If the ability to think creatively about systems design, systems architecture, and its marriage with cool technologies excites you, then please send your resume and contact information to Kainne Hansbury in our software and technology group KHansbury@WinterWyman.com !! You can expect confidentiality and respect; your resume is never distributed without your permission.
