Project Quality Assurance Manager

RCS Corporation is seeking a Project Quality Assurance Manager to work in Oak Ridge, TN for a Client with great benefits. Job Description Prepares and administers cost estimates for the supply of quality QA/QC programs complying with the client’s specified requirements. Develops QA programs for design-build projects, and fabrication of equipment. Some examples of responsibilities include:-Prepares cost estimates, project quality plans, procedures, and instructions -Reviews engineering design documents for conformance to specified code requirements - Provides welding, nondestructive examination, and special processes input to engineering - Performs supplier evaluation and selection activities - Administers shop inspection and testing program - Reviews all procurement and supplier submittal documents for acceptability - Witnesses tests and verifies that test results are properly done and recorded - Evaluates the results of examinations to verify conformance of materials, items, or service to the applicable specifications, drawings, instructions, procedures, or procurement documents - Assesses project activities Reports To Corporate QA Manager Project ManagerScope/Key Responsibilities Prepares and administers cost estimates for the supply of QA/QC programs complying with the client’s specified requirements. Some examples of responsibilities include:- Prepares cost estimates, project quality plans, procedures, and instructions - Reviews engineering design documents for conformance to specified code requirements - Provides welding, nondestructive examination, and special processes input to engineering - Performs supplier evaluation and selection activities - Administers field inspection and testing program - Reviews all procurement and supplier submittal documents for acceptability - Witnesses tests and verifies that test are properly done and recorded per specified requirements - Evaluates the results of examinations to verify conformance of materials, items, or service to the applicable specifications, drawings, instructions, procedures, or procurement documents - Assesses project activities Required Experience Qualified Lead Auditor to ASME NQA-1-2000 standard. Demonstrated capability in management of regimented quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) programs for the design-build of facilities and/or custom equipment and/or containment systems. Proven capability to interact with various internal and external organizations and disciplines. Extensive knowledge of quality assurance programs based on NQA-1-2000 (including Part II, Subpart 2.7), 10 CFR 830 Subpart A, and DOE O 414.1C. Basic to extensive knowledge of design software including Pro Engineer, AutoCAD, and acquired design analysis software. Capability to establish and administer a regimented QA/QC program for a major design-build project.
