Their mission is to provide our customers with professional, value added services from technical assistance to completion of on-site work, with a highly motivated professional team working together safely with pride and integrity. The management team with over 50 years experience within the hydro industry specializes in providing the customer with turn key solutions from outage planning to site rehabilitation. The Project Manager must be capable of managing multiple field projects relating to civil / mechanical demolition, setting, welding, aligning, embedding and machining of turbine and valve components. Provides engineering calculations related to portable machine tools, turbine equipment installation and jobsite safety. Familiar with field concepts, practices and procedures to accomplish project goals. The Project Manager must be able to drive the overall success of the project from understanding the scope, planning processes, personnel staffing and expenses required to yield an acceptable positive net margin. Responsible for all aspects of the project.This position is located in Chattanooga, TN. Responsibilities:•Develop winning bid proposals, with a prepared plan, to acquire new business. •Builds Project Plan, including a detailed schedule to execute awarded projects. •Prepares a project budget / spend plan that supports the bid. •Trains or arranges training for Field Managers and/or site personnel. •Files accurate timely claims for all added, out of scope, work. •Provides conceptual and engineering design for required portable machine tools. •Continually improves field tooling and equipment with safer equipment, better technology, etc. •Specifies and purchases project specific equipment. •Pre and Post outage site inspections and reporting including troubleshooting turbine conditions•Develops and maintains great relationships with customers, clients, Suppliers and fellow workers. Education and Experience•B.S. Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or High School Graduate with a minimum of five (5) years experience in the hydroelectric industry. •Cadd software capabilities in 2 & 3-D•Familiar with scheduling software such as Microsoft project or Primavera. •AWS CWI License and PMP certification desired. •Travel approximately 25% Salary•$60,000-100,000 depending on experience.
